Overview
Project Background
Market research is broken — it's slow, expensive, and often inaccurate. I built RevX to bridge the gap between businesses needing real feedback and everyday people wanting to try products for rewards. Seekers create testing events, set criteria for testers, review applications, and receive structured feedback through interactive surveys. Testers discover products/services, apply to test, confirm attendance via QR code, complete feedback forms, and earn Revoints (redeemable for gift cards, cash, or products). The platform includes an admin dashboard for managing approvals, monitoring disputes, and ensuring quality control across all testing events.
The Problem
Businesses struggle to get authentic, structured feedback from real users before launching products. Traditional focus groups are expensive ($5k-20k per study), take weeks to organize, and often use professional testers who don't represent actual customers. Meanwhile, real people who would love to try new products have no way to connect with businesses or get rewarded for their opinions.
The Solution
Developed a complete two-sided testing ecosystem connecting businesses (Seekers) with real people (Testers). Features event creation, tester applications with acceptance workflow, QR code attendance tracking, interactive surveys, structured feedback collection, and a rewards system (Revoints/custom rewards). Built with modern web technologies for real-time analytics.

Features
What Was Built
Event Creation & Management — Seekers create testing events with custom criteria (age, location, interests), quotas, timelines, and reward amounts
Tester Applications — Testers apply to events with custom forms; Seekers review and accept/reject with one click and automated notifications

Custom Rewards — Seekers can offer their own products, discount codes, or exclusive access as incentives
Real-Time Analytics Dashboard — For Seekers: response rates, sentiment trends, average scores, demographic breakdowns, completion rates
Tester Profiles — Verification badges, testing history, response quality score, preferred categories, location-based filtering
Admin Control Panel — User management, event approvals, fraud detection, dispute resolution, platform fee configuration
Automated Reminders — Email/SMS notifications 24h before events, 1h before feedback deadline, and reward payout alerts
Quality Scoring System — AI-assisted analysis of open-ended responses to flag low-effort or AI-generated feedback
